Privacy Policy

How UNI Travel Platform handles your data

We treat traveler data like our bookings—secure, auditable, and ready to simplify every itinerary. This policy explains the data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you can exercise.

Quick facts

Effective January 2026 • Global OTA operations

You control consent, marketing preferences, and can request copies of your traveler profile anytime.

What we collect

We collect traveler profiles, booking details, support interactions, and device data to deliver and improve services.

  • Traveler profile: names, emails, phone numbers, loyalty tiers, and travel preferences.
  • Bookings: trip dates, itineraries, payments, and supplier confirmations.
  • Support records: chats, messages, and notes tied to your account.
  • Device & behavior: IP addresses, browser data, and navigation paths while using UNI.

How we use it

Deliver, update, and track bookings.

Send notifications when itineraries change.

Personalize offers, upsells, and travel protections.

Monitor platform health, analyze trends, and fight fraud.

Sharing & partners

We share data only when required to deliver travel services or comply with law.

  • Suppliers: carriers, hotels, activities, and experiences receive the information needed to fulfill reservations.
  • Partners: payment processors, identity services, analytics vendors, and messaging providers (for example SMS aggregators) act under strict contracts and only to deliver communications you request or that are necessary to operate the service.
  • Legal & security: we honor court orders, fraud investigations, and safety incidents with minimal necessary data.
  • Anonymized insights: aggregated data may be used for benchmarking or research.

Mobile communications & SMS

If you provide a mobile number and consent, we may send text messages as part of UNI Travel AI notifications—for example account notifications, booking or tour updates, schedule changes, and limited service announcements aligned with your relationship to an operator using UNI Travel AI.

Opt-in data: We collect and store the phone numbers and consent records needed to prove and honor your preferences. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes. Carriers and contracted messaging providers may process messages solely to deliver the service, as described in our SMS & messaging disclosure.

You can opt out of SMS where supported by replying STOP or following instructions in the message. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. See SMS & messaging for program details, HELP/STOP, and contact information.

Cookies & tracking

Cookies keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support fraud detection and product experimentation.

Disable or limit cookies in your browser, but know that essential cookies are needed for booking, payment, and authentication flows.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited, and logs monitor suspicious activity. Payment details are tokenized through PCI-compliant vendors.

We retain data only as long as needed for service, compliance, or fraud prevention. Some records persist longer for financial or legal obligations.

Your choices

  • Access & correction: Email privacy@unitravel.app to review or update data.
  • Marketing opt-out: Use links in emails or message support to stop promotional communications.
  • Account deletion: Request removal and we will erase personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for travelers 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.

Policy updates

We may revise this policy to reflect new regulations or practices. Material changes appear here with a new effective date.
